When developing this hotel we tried to be respectful of this 1916 building.  We reused what we could  and added modern materials to create this unique property.  You will see original materials in the hotel stair treads, the custom door panels and our table tops.  These are made from both the old hotel floor boards and the original fir sleepers that the building rested on for almost 100 years.  On display in the lobby is a hotel registry book from the 1940’s signed by many people including Rich Hobson, one of our most prominent pioneers.  The result is a reimagined landmark building steeped in history.



We have worked hard to offer our guests the most modern hospitality technology.  With mobile check in to allow our guests to avoid the wait to check in to their rooms as well as an app that allows the guest to communicate their needs to management .  We offer a concierge service which allows the guest to customize their stay.  This is a complimentary service designed to ensure a seamless stay in Northern British Columbia .  If you are arriving late and would like food pre ordered and placed in your fridge to reheat upon your arrival we can make that happen.  If you would like your room stocked with food or beverages items from local stores we are happy to do that.  We also have partnered with Intellity for our in room tablets.  This device will allow you to communicate all of your needs without the use of the telephone.  It also allows you to read more of the history of the REID HOTEL and to see what our community has to offer.
