Property and Cancellation Policies
48 hour cancellation required
- Travelers who cancel 48 hours or more before 18:00 on the day of check-in are charged no fee.
- Travelers who cancel less than 48 hours before 18:00 on the day of check-in (including no-shows) are charged:
1st night + tax
Reservation Policy
Check In: Check in time is after 3 pm. Guests are required to present a valid piece of Government issued photo ID that matches their credit card. A credit card is required for incidental charges. Early check in may be available but cannot be guaranteed. Charges may apply. Guest must contact the property with arrival details if arriving outside of our front desk hours of 8 am to 8 pm. Use the contact information on your booking confirmation. If arriving outside of these hours guests may use mobile check in on our app (the reid hotel) or we can arrange a staff member to great you when you arrive. Guests will receive an email 24 hours prior to arrival with check in instructions.
Check Out: Check out time is 12 noon. If you require a later check-out, please contact our Front Desk on the morning of your departure, and we will do our best to accommodate. Late check out may be available but cannot be guaranteed. Charges may apply.
Cancellation Policy: Unless otherwise noted, all reservations are subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy. Any changes or cancellations must be made by 3:00 pm (PST), 48 hrs prior to scheduled arrival. Late cancellations or no shows are subject to a fee of one night’s room and taxes, billed to the credit card on file.
Safety Policy: We have strict policies in place to ensure that all common spaces as well as guest rooms are thoroughly sanitized prior to your arrival. All of our rooms are fully equipped with a fire suppression system and fire extinguisher are easily accessible.
Smoking Policy: We are a 100% non-smoking hotel. Smoking is prohibited at all times. If smoking has taken place in your guest room, a fine of $250 per night will be applied.
Age Restrictions: Guests must be 19 years or older to check in without a parent or legal guardian. A valid government issued photo ID must be presented at the time of check in for age verification.
Gathering Policy: In-room parties are prohibited, and no unregistered guests are permitted on guest floors at any time. To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all those staying at OPUS, this policy is strictly enforced. In the event of a disturbance one warning will be given to reduce noise. If this warning is not followed, the Hotel reserves the right to involve the local Police. Furthermore, should it be determined that excessive disturbance or damages have taken place, the Hotel reserves the right to apply additional charges to your account, including but not limited to: repair costs for furniture, Hotel common property, or costs for compensating affected guests.
Payment Policy: The Reid Hotel Vanderhoof requires a valid credit card which will be pre-authorized 24 hours prior to arrival to guarantee all reservations. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Same day reservations will be charged 1 night’s room & taxes at time of booking. A valid credit card with accompanying Government issued ID must also be presented upon check in.
Incidental Charges: You will be charged $100 deposit per visit. This will be removed from your final bill following final inspection of your room. We have equipped our guest rooms with many luxury items for your use during your stay. If you wish to take the Dyson Hair Dryer , guest room tablet or other Guest Ammenities with you upon your departure you will be charged replacement cost on these items.
